Creative Ireland is a culture-based programme designed to promote individual, community and national wellbeing. The Creative Ireland programme focuses on the themes of identity, culture and citizenship and Limerick’s part in the initiative’s five-year journey began with its plans in 2017. Limerick’s ambitious Creative Ireland Culture and Creativity Strategy has sent cultural activity soaring. The county’s international profile, connection with its communities and sense of itself have all been formed through this investment in culture.
